A friend of mine posted a message on facebook that I feel the need to share.   Her friend Will Schutz, theatre-actor extraoridinare, just found out he has pancreatic cancer.  He doesn't have insurance, so they've set up a fund where you can help.  You can donate even a $1.

just doodled. I'm winding down after an audition. And getting warmed up for a drawing for 200 lincolns, a show that I'm submitting a peice to. The theme for that exhibit is, of course, Lincoln, the president. This is obviously NOT Lincoln, its just a quik doodle.

Well its on account of Twitter, which I just joined, that I have a new picture.  I played with a small one that I didn't really like.  Then I spent a bit more time and came up with this.  It might last, might not.  I may do another one and look in a mirror.  

2008 in Review

All those experiences from the year, tangible and untangible, documented or part of the fabric of the past, all are brought together to make up 2008. You might not be able to see photos of everything I put into this image, but its written there in memories and happy thoughts that this year brought.

Holiday!

I was asked to make a nicer looking listing of our offices hours during the holiday.  So I spiffed up the typed out list I was emailed and came up with this.  Everyone at the office loved it (of course, most of us including myself will be off starting Christmas Eve and returning the 2nd):

sometimes I have to do simple drawings...icons...whatever for work.  Here's a pencil. It's goin to be part of another ad, once I add all the shadows and stuff.  But what you see above is made only from vector shapes.

Haven't been up to sketching lately.  Been sick.  I'm trying to get into the mood of sketching.  Currently reading twilight, book 2.

Oh boy!  I get to animate sad man as I've dubbed him just now.  Nothing fancy, but they need a banner....I have him blinking.  I don't even know if I can upload a gif here....  I didn't check the timing, so it's not smooth at all.  But I like that he's blinking.  His eye's bug me...need to fix them tommorrow....oh soo picky.
