Zoo Sketch

My friends Catherine, Sarah, and Adrian came into the city and I got out of my office job early to go draw with them at the zoo. It was a fun day, lots of the animals actually seemed to be posing for us. And because it was a weekday, the crowds weren't soo heavy. Here are my drawings from our mini sketchcrawl in no particular order:

that's awesome, i love when artists do sketches like this, you can tell they're done quickly or that they're "rough" or whatever, but it really shows the talent of the artist that they're able to do such intricate work given the short amount of time they do it in. Color me impressed!

I really like the gesture of your drawings. My favorites are the birds; probably because I like the color and the more finished look.

Thanks for visiting my blog and checking out Arnold and Michael.

Really love the watercolor the most of all of these. You gotta' give me a few pointers next time we go hang out for a sketchcrawl.
